James Burns

James graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in Economics and German. He served as an Apache pilot and Aviation Officer with the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade at Fort Campbell, KY and the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade at Fort Hood, TX. He served during multiple deployments as a platoon leader and company commander in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Syria, and South Korea. After transitioning in 2020, he interned with Blackstone in their Tactical Opportunities Group. He is pursuing an MBA at Stanford.
