Celeste Mueller
Celeste grew up in a small town in southeastern Minnesota. She graduated from North Carolina State University in 2013 where she majored in Chemical Engineering and was a member of the NROTC unit. Upon graduation she commissioned in the Navy as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer, and went on to be stationed in Pearl Harbor, Charleston, San Diego, and Bremerton. She separated from the Navy in 2019 and moved to Naples, IT where her husband was stationed. Since separation, Celeste has completed a Master of Engineering Management degree and the Project Management Professional certification. She recently left Italy for Boston, MA and began a position as a Site System Engineer with a hydrogen production start-up.

Fun Fact About Yourself? I spent 3 months last summer on a road trip, camping and visiting 18 national parks with my husband.
What did you do in the military? Navy Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer
Why did you decide to volunteer with Service to School? My husband used S2S when applying to MBA programs and found it very helpful, so I wanted to contribute and help others with their goals!
How has your experience as an Ambassador been? It has been wonderful! It has been a very fulfilling experience and I have learned a lot from the applicants!

Celeste's advice to veterans considering pursuing higher education
There are so many great resources for veterans (including S2S!) that you should seek out all of them! Not just to apply to school, but also to help you determine what you want to get out of school and with future goals. Never feel that you have to go it alone!
