Mike Wagner

Mike graduated from the University of Hawaii in 2008. After completing a year of civilian flight training, Mike was accepted into the Army’s warrant officer flight program. He completed Warrant Officer Candidate School in 2010 and graduated from flight school in 2012 as an AH-64D Apache Helicopter Pilot. Mike earned pilot-in-command responsibility in Korea, his first duty station, and he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel while at his second duty station of Fort Carson, Colorado. He separated from active duty in May 2018, and he graduated from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management in 2020.

Mike’s Veteran applicant shared some inspiring words on the impacts of his mentorship: “The MBA application experience is a daunting and, at times, seemingly impossible challenge. It is no small feat, from the standardized tests, non-stop networking, countless essays, short answers, interviews, and even potentially working your way off a waitlist or two.
