Michael Strawser

Michael is a US Air Force veteran currently attending Columbia Business School in NY, NY (Class of 2024). He served 7 years on active duty as an Intelligence Officer and now intends to pivot into Investment Banking post-MBA.

Michael commissioned via AF ROTC in 2015 from UNC-Chapel Hill with a BA in Political Science and International Relations. His first assignment was at Goodfellow AFB, followed by Osan AB, South Korea in 2017; Ramstein AB, Germany in 2018; he served one tour in Afghanistan in 2020; and finished out his service at JB Lewis-McChord in 2022.

In his free time, Michael enjoys hikes, the gym, podcasts, traveling, and gaming. He is an active member of the Modern Military Association of America, a non-profit supporting and advocating for LGBTQ+ military members, veterans, and dependents.
