Mr. Calfee is a retired Managing Director with Houlihan Lokey Strategic Consulting and was one of its co-founders. He has had extensive experience consulting to executives in a wide variety of consumer, commercial and industrial goods, and services companies. 

Mr. Calfee’s functional experience is equally broad and includes strategy development and implementation, operations improvement (through core process redesign or otherwise) and organizational effectiveness, human resources management, and change leadership. 

Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Calfee was a founder of Bridge Strategy Group LLC, a management consulting firm. He was also a leader of Renaissance Worldwide, CSC Index, and McKinsey & Co. 

Mr. Calfee’s primary focus has been on helping executives and senior managers drive operating performance improvements through their organizations by strengthening institutional skills and overall organizational effectiveness. Mr. Calfee has also worked with several clients in preparing for and launching change initiatives associated with major process redesign and the implementation of new or modified strategies. 

Mr. Calfee holds an MBA with distinction from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, and an A.B. cum laude from Harvard College.
