Hillary Browning
Hillary Browning started at Service to School as an undergrad applicant in 2016. Then she transitioned to being an ambassador for other enlisted veterans. From 2020-2022, she worked for Service to School. Now, as a law school student, she continues to serve as an ambassador and a Board member.
She enlisted in the Navy as a Mass Communications Specialist. She was stationed in Japan, deployed to Afghanistan, and served on the USS Eisenhower. She attended community college while active duty. She applied to college while underway. She got her undergraduate degree from Yale University, and now attends Yale Law School. There she participates in two veteran-focused clinics, offering free legal services to the local military community. Hillary loves helping veterans, whether it’s with college applications or their legal needs.
